Join the over 2,000 youth shooting teams who are providing for their teams' monetary needs the easy way: by starting their own endowment accounts! Creating your team account is easy and free.  Whether your team is affiliated with a high school, college, club or independently organized, you can participate in our endowment and fundraising program. Just follow the simple steps below to watch your money grow year after year!

STEP 1:  CREATE YOUR NEW ENDOWMENT ACCOUNT

Your shooting team must operate in Georgia but does not have to be affiliated with a high school, college or club to open an endowment account. You simply need to be reputably organized and made up of primarily high school or college age youth. (Please review our definition of a team.) Club teams, such as 4-H, Boy Scouts, FFA, etc., or those affiliated with your local gun club, are eligible.  Once your account is active, you can start growing it immediately!

STEP 2:  FUNDRAISE USING ITEMS WE PROVIDED BY MIDWAY USA FOUNDATION

The ways to grow your account are endless, so take advantage of all opportunities. Larry and Brenda Potterfield donate to the Foundation annually to fund the purchase of promotional items for teams and our partners to use as fundraisers to grow their endowment accounts. The type and quantity of available promotional items varies, but they are always provided at no cost. Always check our Current Promotions for the latest items. Quantities are limited. STEP 3: DEPOSIT FUNDS INTO YOUR ACCOUNT

There are two ways to deposit funds into your endowment account. Choose the method appropriate for your team:

 

1. SUBMIT FUNDS DIRECTLY TO MIDWAY USA FOUNDATION: Complete this form.

2. SUBMIT FUNDS TO A STATE PARTNER, such as GYSSF, who then matches your funds and sends them to Midway USA Foundation who in turn, matches those funds as well! (Does GYSSF have a form for teams to submit to them?)

 

 

STEP 4: REQUEST YOUR GRANT FROM MIDWAY USA FOUNDATION

Teams with an Endowment Account may apply for a grant of up to 5% of their account balance once per year. We offer two grant cycles each year, but teams may only apply once per year. There must be at least 12 months between grant applications. (Visit our GRANT FAQs to learn more.)

STEP 5:  DEPOSIT

Each year, your shooting team is eligible to use Midway USA Foundation's free promotional fundraising items, request a grant from them and then deposit matched funds from the Georgia Youth Shooting Sports Foundation AND Midway USA Foundation! You get DOUBLE the matched funds when you participate in our program.

 

 

STEP 6:  REPEAT THE PROCESS

Each year, your shooting team is eligible to use Midway USA Foundation's free promotional fundraising items, request a grant from them and then deposit matched funds from the Georgia Youth Shooting Sports Foundation AND Midway USA Foundation! You get DOUBLE the matched funds when you participate in our program.
