GROWING YOUR FUNDS IS SIMPLE

 

MATCHING PROGRAM

Private donations and money returned from fundraisers are currently matched! So whatever funds you turn in will be matched before it is forwarded to your MidwayUSA Foundation Endowment account. (*Matching rate is subject to change.)

 

Private donations to a shooting team's endowment account, as well as those generated from fundraising with our promotional items, are matched by Larry and Brenda Potterfield. This matching program is tied to the philanthropy of donors and is not guaranteed every year. Therefore, we recommend taking full advantage of the matching program while it is available. Matching dollars will not show up in a team account immediately following a donation, the funds are deposited the month following the eligible donation. Matching rates may vary.

RECURRING DONORS

Recurring gifts are a great way to grow your Team Endowment Account and we often reward teams for finding those committed donors. EVERY DOLLAR from recurring donors will be matched all year. Send your donors to our Recurring Gifts page and contact us for materials to help communicate to your donors. 

 

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER

Encourage your team to conduct at least one fundraiser per year with 100% of the proceeds coming back to MidwayUSA Foundation's Team Endowment Account Program. 

 

CONTACT LOCAL FOUNDATIONS

Have your shooting team write a grant request to local Foundation(s). In most cases, we will match the grants from the other Foundations.* If you would like to check ahead of time to see if we will match a grant from a specific foundation, please contact us.

COMMUNITY BASED CONSERVATION GROUPS

Most conservation groups have annual fundraising banquets. Ask your local conservation group committee to allow you to place an item in its auction to benefit your shooting team. Send the proceeds of the auction to your Team Endowment Account, using our check donation form, and we’ll match the donation.

 

"PENNY A TARGET"

Ask your local shotgun shooting facility(s) to raise its rates by $.01 per target and send MidwayUSA Foundation a donation, for the benefit of your team, equal to $.01 times the number of targets thrown.* For example, if a clay target range throws three million targets a year, that is a $30,000 donation from the range. 

 

DOLLAR OF DUES

Ask your local gun club to increase dues by $1 per year and donate the proceeds to the MidwayUSA Foundation for your team's shooting program. Larry and Brenda Potterfield will match all donations from the club.*
