GYSSF was established to be a single point of contact for fundraising efforts for youth shooting sports programs in Georgia. As such, we are developing relationships with many foundations and sponsors. MidwayUSA Foundation is our current partner. As a state partner, when you donate funds to GYSSF, we in turn match funds and then deposit them to your established MidwayUSA Foundation endowment account. This exponetially maximizes your funds. 

 

Below are the steps to get started funding your team's path to fundraising success:

STEP 1:  CREATE AN ENDOWMENT ACCOUNT

Once your account is active, you can start growing funds immediately! Your shooting team must operate in Georgia but does not have to be affiliated with a high school, college or club to open an endowment account. You simply need to be a reputably organized youth club or team. (GYSSF reserves the right to detemine what constitues a club or team.) Club teams, such as 4-H, Boy Scouts, FFA, etc., or those affiliated with your local gun club, are eligible. We encourage applicants to seek out other funding avenues and use them along with these:

STEP 2:  FUNDRAISE  

The ways to grow your account are endless, so take advantage of all opportunities. One the most cost effective methods for fundraising is to use MidwayUSA Foundation's FREE promotional items for raffles or other fundraising efforts. (Click here to view their latest promotion.)

STEP 3: DONATE TO GYSSF FOR MATCHING FUNDS

Donate to GYSSF. We will deposit matched funds into your MidwayUSA Foundation endowment account: MidwayUSA Foundation will in turn match those funds according to applicable rules.* To donate to GYSSF, do the following:

STEP 4:  REPEAT THE PROCESS

Each year, your shooting team is eligible to raise funds then donate to GYSSF using our matching program*, which we will depsit into your endowment account.
